The Delhi-born cricketer played a pivotal role in RCB’s chase, scoring a composed 51 off 47 balls after the team was left reeling at 26/3 within the first four overs. Kohli’s calm and steady innings not only rescued RCB from early trouble but also kept the passionate Delhi crowd on its feet.

Kohli stitched together a crucial 119-run stand for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya, who remained unbeaten on 73 off 47 balls. Their partnership, coming off just 84 balls, turned the tide firmly in RCB’s favour after the early collapse.
While Kohli departed in the 18th over, his foundation work was complete. Tim David then sealed the win in style, smashing an unbeaten 19 off just 5 deliveries as RCB chased down 163/4 in 18.3 overs.
The victory marked RCB’s sixth consecutive away win of the season, propelling them to the top of the IPL 2025 points table.
