Over 1300 Players Register for Inaugural Canada Super 60 T10 League

More than 1,300 cricketers from around the world — both men and women — have registered for the Canada Super 60, a T10 cricket league officially endorsed by former Indian star Yuvraj Singh. The tournament is set to feature 1,135 male and 235 female players representing 34 countries, showcasing the growing global interest in the fast-paced T10 format.

The league has already attracted a host of international stars to its debut season. Notable male players signed up include Finn Allen, Sikandar Raza, Naseem Shah, Alex Hales, Shamar Joseph, Jason Roy, Keshav Maharaj, Tim Seifert, Tim Southee, Jimmy Neesham, Azam Khan, Lungi Ngidi, Rilee Rossouw, Chris Lynn, Jason Holder, Andre Fletcher, Kyle Mayers, Tabraiz Shamsi, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Martin Guptill, Dawid Malan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Chad Bowes, and Gudakesh Motie.

The women’s lineup is equally impressive, featuring top international talent such as Maddy Green, Fran Jonas, Rosemary Mair, Eden Carson, Tazmin Brits, Amy Smith, Lauren Winfield-Hill, Jess Jonassen, Shabnim Ismail, Laura Harris, Deandra Dottin, Chinelle Henry, Sinalo Jafta, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Fatima Sana, and Lea Tahuhu.

Scottish cricket legend and assistant tournament director Kyle Coetzer expressed his excitement about the league’s growing star power. “I’m absolutely thrilled to see some of the biggest names in world cricket signing up for the Canada Super 60. Their involvement will not only elevate the level of competition but also offer tremendous exposure for Canadian players. It’s a fantastic step forward for cricket in Canada, both on and off the field.”

The league will feature eight teams across both the men’s and women’s competitions. Organizers have confirmed that draft dates will be announced soon, with the inaugural season set to launch in July.
